Kṛṣṇa Teases Rukmiṇī; Her Devotional Reply and the Lord’s Assurance
The Lord manifested four hands so He could do all of these things simultaneously.
In this verse, Kṛṣṇa personally rises, lifts Rukmiṇī, and tenderly wipes her face—showing that Bhagavān is not distant, but lovingly attentive to a devotee’s distress.
Within the Rukmiṇī–Kṛṣṇa dialogue, Rukmiṇī becomes emotionally overwhelmed; Kṛṣṇa responds with intimate care, reassuring her through affectionate action rather than mere words.
It teaches devotees to trust Krishna’s personal concern and also to embody bhakti by offering gentle, respectful care to loved ones who are distressed.
