स एव जातो वैदर्भ्यां कृष्णवीर्यसमुद्भ‍व: । प्रद्युम्न इति विख्यात: सर्वतोऽनवम: पितु: ॥ २ ॥

Transliteration

sa eva jāto vaidarbhyāṁ kṛṣṇa-vīrya-samudbhavaḥ pradyumna iti vikhyātaḥ sarvato ’navamaḥ pituḥ

Translation

Baginda lahir dalam rahim Vaidarbhī daripada benih suci Śrī Kṛṣṇa dan masyhur dengan nama Pradyumna. Dalam segala hal Baginda tidak lebih rendah daripada ayahanda-Nya.
