Pradyumna’s Abduction, Mahā-māyā, and the Slaying of Śambara
It states that the demon Śambara threw the newborn Pradyumna into the sea, where a fish swallowed him, and Pradyumna later arrived after being recovered from the fish’s belly.
She was revealing Pradyumna’s true identity and extraordinary rescue, explaining how he survived Śambara’s attack and came to her, setting the context for his mission against the demon.
Even when danger seems overwhelming, divine protection and destiny can prevail; the verse encourages faith, perseverance, and remembering that the Lord’s arrangements can transform calamity into deliverance.
