Akrūra’s Prayers (Akrūra-stuti): The Lord as Cause of Causes, Virāṭ, and the Goal of All Paths

त्वय्यव्ययात्मन् पुरुषे प्रकल्पिता लोका: सपाला बहुजीवसङ्कुला: । यथा जले सञ्जिहते जलौकसो- ऽप्युदुम्बरे वा मशका मनोमये ॥ १५ ॥

tvayy avyayātman puruṣe prakalpitā lokāḥ sa-pālā bahu-jīva-saṅkulāḥ yathā jale sañjihate jalaukaso ’py udumbare vā maśakā mano-maye

Wahai Puruṣa, Ātman yang tidak berkurang! Segala alam beserta dewa-dewa pelindungnya, sarat dengan pelbagai makhluk, tersusun dan muncul di dalam-Mu. Di dalam-Mu—asas bagi minda dan indria—mereka bergerak seperti hidupan air berenang di lautan, atau serangga halus menyusup dalam buah udumbara.
