The Killing of Ariṣṭāsura and Kaṁsa’s Plot to Summon Kṛṣṇa
भगवानपि तद् वीक्ष्य गोकुलं भयविद्रुतम् । मा भैष्टेति गिराश्वास्य वृषासुरमुपाह्वयत् ॥ ६ ॥
bhagavān api tad vīkṣya go-kulaṁ bhaya-vidrutam mā bhaiṣṭeti girāśvāsya vṛṣāsuram upāhvayat
Apabila Tuhan melihat penduduk Gokula lari dalam ketakutan, Dia menenangkan mereka dengan kata-kata, “Jangan takut.” Lalu Dia memanggil iblis lembu, Vṛṣāsura, supaya tampil.
In this verse, Kṛṣṇa directly comforts the frightened residents of Gokula—“mā bhaiṣṭa” (“do not fear”)—showing that the Lord personally protects and reassures those who take shelter of Him.
Because Gokula had become terrified and was fleeing due to the bull-demon’s threat; Kṛṣṇa calmed them and then confronted the demon Himself, taking the danger upon Himself for their safety.
When fear arises, remember the Lord’s protective role: seek refuge through prayer, steady remembrance, and dharmic action—cultivating inner courage grounded in devotion rather than panic.
