This verse depicts an urgent cry of “Kṛṣṇa! Rāma!” and immediately shows the Lord and Balarāma rushing to protect—highlighting the protective power and intimacy of divine names in bhakti.
They saw their own dear companion being taken and, like people chasing a thief who has grabbed their cow, they pursued at once—showing their swift guardianship over those connected with them in Vraja.
In moments of fear or crisis, remember and call upon God with sincerity; the verse encourages faith that divine help comes swiftly to one who takes shelter of the Lord.
