The Vraja Elders Question Kṛṣṇa’s Identity; Nanda Recounts Garga’s Prophecy
हिन्वतोऽध: शयानस्य मास्यस्य चरणावुदक् । अनोऽपतद् विपर्यस्तं रुदत: प्रपदाहतम् ॥ ५ ॥
hinvato ’dhaḥ śayānasya māsyasya caraṇāv udak ano ’patad viparyastaṁ rudataḥ prapadāhatam
Pernah ketika baru tiga bulan, Kṛṣṇa kecil berbaring di bawah sebuah pedati besar sambil menangis dan menendang. Hanya terkena hujung jari kakinya, pedati itu pun jatuh dan terbalik.
Śukadeva describes the cart’s movement in the Yamunā episode, where the cart-wheel strikes a fish lying below in the water, indicating the dramatic conditions around the vortex and the danger near the river.
