Kāliya-damana: Kṛṣṇa Subdues the Serpent and Purifies the Yamunā
The surrender of Kāliya’s wives was now complete, and Lord Kṛṣṇa immediately gave them His mercy, as described in the following verses.
This verse says that one who faithfully follows Krishna’s command becomes freed from fear on all sides—fear dissolves through śraddhā-filled obedience and surrender.
After Krishna subdued Kāliya, the Nāga-patnīs approached in humility, accepted Krishna as their Lord, and sought His instruction so their service and repentance would be guided by His will.
Adopt a life of faithful practice—follow divine guidance (guru, śāstra, and sincere conscience aligned with dharma) and perform your duties as service; this steadies the mind and reduces anxiety and fear.
