Paugaṇḍa Cowherding, Tālavana, the Slaying of Dhenukāsura, and Revival from Poisoned Yamunā Water
This verse describes Kṛṣṇa joyfully herding the animals in the glorious forest of Vṛndāvana, moving along the riverbanks near the hill (Govardhana), accompanied by His companions.
Śukadeva highlights the natural, intimate setting of Kṛṣṇa’s Vṛndāvana līlā—His daily life with the cows and cowherd boys—showing how the Supreme Lord freely enjoys loving pastimes with His devotees.
They encourage devotees to cultivate simple, joyful remembrance of God—finding devotion in everyday duties, companionship, and time spent in nature while keeping the heart connected to Kṛṣṇa.
