The Lord Appears to the Devas and Instructs the Truce; Mandara Is Brought for Churning
श्रीएवं उक्त्वा हरिवंशेण शकुन्तला पुरो हृषीकेशम् । अभ्युपगम्य महाभागा हर्षेणाभिवाद्य भास्करम् ॥ २ ॥
tenaiva sahasā sarve devāḥ pratihatekṣaṇāḥ nāpaśyan khaṁ diśaḥ kṣauṇīm ātmānaṁ ca kuto vibhum
Kerana sinar Tuhan, penglihatan para dewa terhalang. Mereka tidak dapat melihat langit, arah, bumi, bahkan diri sendiri—apatah lagi melihat Hṛṣīkeśa yang berada di hadapan mereka.
