Aditi’s Payo-vrata and Viṣṇu’s Promise to Appear as Her Son
Prelude to Vāmana
This verse states that through samādhi-yoga Kaśyapa directly understood the presence of an expansion of Lord Hari within himself—showing that deep absorption can reveal the Lord’s divine arrangement and presence.
Because Kaśyapa was a perfected sage; his realization was not speculation. Śukadeva emphasizes that Kaśyapa’s perception of Hari’s expansion entering was certain and spiritually authoritative.
By cultivating steady meditation and devotion—reducing distraction and living a disciplined spiritual life—one can gain clearer inner guidance and faith that the Lord’s presence and purpose become known in the purified heart.
