Vishwarupa Darshana Yoga — Vishwarupa Darshana Yoga
अर्जुन उवाच । दृष्ट्वेदं मानुषं रूपं तव सौम्यं जनार्दन । इदानीमस्मि संवृत्तः सचेताः प्रकृतिं गतः ॥ ११.५१ ॥
arjuna uvāca | dṛṣṭvedaṁ mānuṣaṁ rūpaṁ tava saumyaṁ janārdana | idānīm asmi saṁvṛttaḥ sacetāḥ prakṛtiṁ gataḥ || 11.51 ||
Arjuna berkata: Wahai Janardana! Melihat wujud-Mu yang lembut dalam rupa manusia ini, kini aku menjadi tenang; kesedaranku pulih, dan aku kembali kepada keadaan semula jadi.
Arjuna said: Seeing this gentle human form of Yours, O Janardana, I am now composed, restored to clarity, and returned to my natural state.
Arjuna said: Having seen this gentle human form of yours, O Janārdana, I am now settled; I have become clear-minded, having returned to (my) normal condition.
‘prakṛtiṁ gataḥ’ is sometimes read as ‘returned to my nature’ (psychological normalcy) rather than the Sāṃkhya technical ‘Prakṛti’ as a metaphysical principle; context favors the former.
Arjuna reports a return from cognitive overload to coherence; the ‘gentle’ form functions as a stabilizing focus that restores attention and emotional balance.
The passage supports a theology in which the ultimate can be approached through a relatable manifestation without denying transcendence.
It marks closure of the cosmic vision and re-establishes conditions for ethical instruction and decision-making.
It parallels the value of grounding techniques—returning to the familiar and manageable—after intense experiences or insights.
