पितरि विक्रमबुद्धिं तथा इत्यनुप्रविश्य भेदयेयुः अप्रार्थनीयो राजा विपन्ने घातः सम्पन्ने नरकपातः संक्रोशः प्रजाभिरेकलोष्टवधश्च इति ॥ कZ_०१.१७.३९ ॥
pitari vikramabuddhiṃ tathā ityanupraviśya bhedayeyuḥ aprārthanīyo rājā vipanne ghātaḥ sampanne narakapātaḥ saṃkrośaḥ prajābhirekaloṣṭavadhaśca iti
Having insinuated (themselves) with the father, they should sow dissension by suggesting: ‘He is of rash/overbold judgment.’ (They should circulate that) ‘This king is not to be desired: if he fails, there will be killing; if he succeeds, there will be a fall into hell; there will be public outcry and even stoning by the people.’
