कर्शनमात्रमस्य कुर्यादव्यसनिनः परवृद्ध्या तु वृद्धः समुच्छेदनम् ॥ कZ_०७.४.१० ॥
Transliteration
karśanamātram asya kuryād avyasaninaḥ; paravṛddhyā tu vṛddhaḥ samucchedanam.
Translation
Terhadap pihak yang tidak ditimpa bencana, hendaklah dikenakan sekadar penghakisan/gangguan; tetapi jika pihak lawan telah membesar melalui pertambahan pihak lain (iaitu diperkukuh oleh keuntungan luar), maka—setelah dirinya juga menjadi kuat—hendaklah melakukan pencabutan hingga ke akar (penghapusan yang tuntas).
