औदुंबर (उंबर) लाकडाच्या वस्तू आंबट द्रव्याने शुद्ध होतात; त्रपु (टिन) व सीस (शिसे) क्षाराने शुद्ध होतात; कांस्य भांडी भस्म व पाण्याने शुद्ध होतात; तसेच धुवून/भिजवून शुद्ध होणाऱ्या आणि सांडून वाहून गेलेल्या वस्तूंसाठीही शुद्धी सांगितली आहे.
