श्रीब्रह्मोवाच । तव कीर्तिसमुच्छेदः संजातोऽद्य धरातले । यावत्कीर्तिर्धरापृष्ठे तावत्स्वर्गे वसेन्नरः
śrībrahmovāca | tava kīrtisamucchedaḥ saṃjāto'dya dharātale | yāvatkīrtirdharāpṛṣṭhe tāvatsvarge vasennaraḥ
श्रीब्रह्मदेव म्हणाले— “आज पृथ्वीवर तुझ्या कीर्तीचा प्रवाह छिन्न झाला आहे. जोवर धरापृष्ठावर कीर्ती टिकते, तोवर मनुष्य स्वर्गात वास करतो।”
