ततोऽपि द्विगुणं द्वीपं प्लक्षनामेति विश्रुतम् । क्षीरोदो द्विगुणस्तत्र यत्रयत्रमहर्षयः । षडिमानि सुदिव्यानि भौमः स्वर्ग उदाहृतः । तत्र स्वर्णमयी भूमिस्तथा रजतसंयुता
tato'pi dviguṇaṃ dvīpaṃ plakṣanāmeti viśrutam | kṣīrodo dviguṇastatra yatrayatramaharṣayaḥ | ṣaḍimāni sudivyāni bhaumaḥ svarga udāhṛtaḥ | tatra svarṇamayī bhūmistathā rajatasaṃyutā
त्याहीपुढे द्विगुण विस्ताराचा प्लक्ष नावाने विख्यात द्वीप आहे. तेथे क्षीरसागरही द्विगुण असून, ठिकठिकाणी महर्षी वसतात. ही सहा स्थाने अतिदिव्य—पृथ्वीवरील स्वर्ग—असे सांगितले आहे; तेथे भूमी सुवर्णमयी व रजतयुक्त आहे.
