उपस्कृतं पुरा यैस्तु तेभ्यो दुःखं हितं न हि । यदा च दीयते दुःखं तदा नाशो भवेदिह

upaskṛtaṃ purā yaistu tebhyo duḥkhaṃ hitaṃ na hi | yadā ca dīyate duḥkhaṃ tadā nāśo bhavediha

जे पूर्वी सत्कृत व सुसंवर्धित होते, त्यांना दुःख देणे कधीही हितकारक नाही. जेव्हा दुःख दिले जाते, तेव्हा याच लोकी नाश उद्भवतो.
