साधारमर्घ्यपात्रं च स्थाप्य गंधादिनार्चयेत् । आपूर्य्य शुद्धतोयेन तस्मिन्पात्रे विनिःक्षिपेत्
sādhāramarghyapātraṃ ca sthāpya gaṃdhādinārcayet | āpūryya śuddhatoyena tasminpātre viniḥkṣipet
साधारण अर्घ्यपात्र स्थापून गंध इत्यादींनी त्याचे पूजन करावे। नंतर ते शुद्ध जलाने भरून, त्या पात्रात विधिनिर्दिष्ट द्रव्य ठेवावे/अर्पावे।
