मैत्रीप्रतिज्ञा-वैरकारणप्रश्नः
Friendship Vow and Inquiry into the Cause of Enmity
एष मे राम शोकान्तश्शोकार्तेन निवेदितः।दुःखितस्सुखितो वापि सख्युर्नित्यं सखा गतिः।।
eṣa me rāma śokāntaḥ śokārtena niveditaḥ |
duḥkhitaḥ sukhito vāpi sakhyur nityaṁ sakhā gatiḥ ||
हे राम! शोकाने व्याकुळ झालेल्या माझ्याकडून माझ्या शोकाचा हा अंत तुला निवेदिला आहे। मित्र दुःखात असो वा सुखात—मित्रासाठी मित्रच सदैव आश्रय व गती असतो॥
