Sampāti’s Account and the Sage Niśākara
ज्येष्ठो हि त्वं तु सम्पाते जटायुरनुजस्तव।मानुषं रूपमास्थाय गृह्णीतां चरणौ मम।।4.60.20।।
jyeṣṭho hi tvaṃ tu sampāte jaṭāyur anujaḥ tava | mānuṣaṃ rūpam āsthāya gṛhṇītāṃ caraṇau mama || 4.60.20 ||
हे सम्पाते! तूच ज्येष्ठ आहेस आणि जटायु तुझा अनुज आहे. मानवरूप धारण करून माझे चरण ग्रहण कर (स्पर्श करून स्वीकार कर)।
