अङ्गदसंवादः / Sampati and Angada: Genealogy, Jatayu, and the Search Vow
एतां बुद्धिं ततश्चक्रुस्सर्वे ते वानरर्षभाः।अवतार्य गिरेश्शृङ्गाद्गृध्रमाहाङ्गदस्तदा।।।।
etāṃ buddhiṃ tataś cakruḥ sarve te vānararṣabhāḥ |
avatārya gireḥ śṛṅgād gṛdhram āhāṅgadas tadā ||
असा निश्चय करून ते सर्व वानरश्रेष्ठ त्या गिधाडाला पर्वतशिखरावरून खाली उतरवून आणले. तेव्हा अङ्गदाने त्याला संबोधिले.
Thus thought the chief among the monkeys. Angada having helped the vulture come down the mountain peak, said:
Dharma as compassion-in-action: even in distress, the vānara leaders act with restraint and engage through dialogue rather than cruelty.
The monkeys physically assist Sampāti and then Aṅgada begins a formal conversation, setting up the exchange of crucial information.
Aṅgada’s leadership and presence of mind—he stabilizes the situation and initiates constructive speech.
