Dharma includes śaraṇāgati—seeking rightful help without arrogance—and responding to a rightful plea for protection and assistance.
Hanumān explains to Sugrīva why Rāma has approached him: Sītā has been abducted by Rāvaṇa, and Rāma seeks alliance and support.
Rāma’s self-restraint and humility: even in crisis, he approaches properly and seeks refuge through dharmic means.
