पूर्वदिशि सीतामार्गण-नियोगः
Deployment to the Eastern Quarter for the Search of Sita
ततः परमगम्या स्याद्दिक्पूर्वा त्रिदशावृता।।4.40.65।।रहिता चन्द्रसूर्याभ्यामदृश्या तिमिरावृता।
tataḥ param agamyā syād dik pūrvā tridaśāvṛtā | rahitā candrasūryābhyām adṛśyā timirāvṛtā ||
त्यापुढे पूर्व दिशा अत्यंत अगम्य आहे, देवांनी वेढलेली; चंद्र-सूर्यरहित, अंधाराने आच्छादित असल्याने ती अदृश्यप्राय होते।
'Beyond, there is no Sun or Moon. Darkness pervades. It is neither accessible norvisible. It is guarded by the gods.
