Vali’s Final Counsel and the Succession Charge
अस्यां त्वहमवस्थायां वीर वक्ष्यामि यद्वचः।यद्यप्यसुकरं राजन्कर्तुमेव तदर्हसि
asyāṃ tv aham avasthāyāṃ vīra vakṣyāmi yad vacaḥ | yady apy asukaraṃ rājan kartum eva tad arhasi ||
हे वीर राजन्! या माझ्या अवस्थेत जे वचन मला सांगणे आवश्यक आहे ते मी सांगतो. जरी ते करणे कठीण असले, तरीही ते तुला नक्कीच आचरावे लागेल.
'O warrior king! you should do whatever I request you at this hour even though it may not be easy.
