Consolation of Tara and Counsel on Succession
न हि मम हरिराजसंश्रयात्क्षमतरमस्ति परत्र चेह वा।अभिमुखहतवीरसेवितंशयनमिदं मम सेवितुं क्षमम्।।
na hi mama harirāja-saṃśrayāt kṣamataram asti paratra ceha vā | abhimukha-hata-vīra-sevitaṃ śayanam idaṃ mama sevitum kṣamam ||
माझ्यासाठी—इहलोकी वा परलोकी—वानरराजाच्या आश्रयापेक्षा अधिक क्षेम व योग्य शरण नाही. माझ्या डोळ्यांसमोर मारल्या गेलेल्या त्या वीराने सेविलेली ही शय्या मी स्वीकारणेच योग्य आहे।
'You are aware of the uncertain and transient happenings in the lives of living beings. Therefore, a wise lady should do auspicious work in this world.
