Rama’s Justification to Vali on Rājadharma
स ममादर्शनाद्दीनो बाल्यात्प्रभृति लालितः।तटाक इव पीताम्बुरुपशोषं गमिष्यति।।
sa mamādarśanād dīno bālyāt prabhṛti lālitaḥ | taṭāka iva pītāmbur upaśoṣaṃ gamiṣyati ||
बाल्यापासून माझ्या स्नेहाने लाडावलेला तो, मला न दिसल्याने दीन होईल; जसा पाणी पिऊन घेतल्यावर तळे कोरडे पडते तसा तो शुष्कतेकडे जाईल।
