त्वमेव राजा मानार्हस्सदा चाहं यथा पुरम्4.10.7।।राजभावनियोगोऽयं मम त्वद्विरहात्कृतः।सामात्यपौरनगरं स्थितं निहतकण्टकम्4.10.8।।

tvam eva rājā mānārhaḥ sadā cāhaṃ yathā puram (4.10.7) || rājabhāvaniyogo 'yaṃ mama tvadvirahāt kṛtaḥ | sāmātyapauranagaraṃ sthitaṃ nihatakaṇṭakam (4.10.8) ||

Translation

आपणच सदा मानास पात्र राजा; आणि मी पूर्वीप्रमाणेच आपला भाऊ. आपल्या अनुपस्थितीत मी केवळ तात्पुरत्या कर्तव्यभावाने राजकारभार केला, जेणेकरून मंत्र्यांसह पौरजनांनी राज्य-नगर सुरक्षित, स्थिर व निष्कंटक राहावे.
