द्वाभ्यां धर्मः स्थितः पद्भ्यामधर्मस्त्रिभिरुत्थितः । विपर्ययशतैर्धर्मः क्षयमेति कलौ युगे

dvābhyāṃ dharmaḥ sthitaḥ padbhyāmadharmastribhirutthitaḥ | viparyayaśatairdharmaḥ kṣayameti kalau yuge

कलियुगात धर्म दोन पायांवर उभा राहतो, आणि अधर्म तीन पायांवर उभारी घेतो। शेकडो विपर्यास व विकृतींमुळे धर्म हळूहळू क्षय पावून विनाशाकडे झुकतो।
