अहमेव निहन्म्येनं योऽन्योस्मिन्प्रहरिष्यति । स वध्यो नात्र संदेहो व्याघ्रो राज्ञः पथा ययौ

ahameva nihanmyenaṃ yo'nyosminprahariṣyati | sa vadhyo nātra saṃdeho vyāghro rājñaḥ pathā yayau

“मीच याला ठार मारीन; दुसरा कोणी याच्यावर घाव घालील तर तो वध्य आहे—यात संशय नाही.” असे म्हणत तो व्याघ्र राजपथाने गेला.
