*शिव उवाच पद्मासनः पद्मकरः पद्मगर्भसमद्युतिः सप्ताश्वः सप्तरज्जुश्च द्विभुजः स्यात्सदा रविः //

शिव म्हणाले—रवि (सूर्यदेव) यास सदैव पद्मासनावर विराजमान, हातांत कमळ धारण करणारा, कमळकळीच्या अंतःप्रकाशासारखा तेजस्वी; सात अश्वांनी युक्त, सात रज्जूंनी सहित आणि द्विभुज असा दर्शवावा।
