कड़क उवाच किं ते द्यूतेन राजेन्द्र बहुदोषेण मानद | देवने बहवो दोषास्तस्मात् तत् परिवर्जयेत्,कंक बोले--सबको मान देनेवाले महाराज! आपको जूएसे क्या लेना है? इसमें तो बहुत-से दोष हैं। जूआ खेलनेमें अनेक दोष होते हैं, इसलिये इसे त्याग देना चाहिये
kaḍaka uvāca kiṁ te dyūtena rājendra bahudoṣeṇa mānada | devane bahavo doṣās tasmāt tat parivarjayet ||
कंक म्हणाला—मान देणाऱ्या राजेंद्र! तुम्हाला जुगाराची काय गरज? त्यात अनेक दोष आहेत. जुगार खेळण्यात बरेच अनर्थ आहेत; म्हणून तो टाळावा.
