Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 42 — Duryodhana’s counsel to Bhīṣma on ajñātavāsa risk and raid strategy

वैयाप्रकोशे निहितो हेमचित्रो दुरासद: । सुफलश्रित्रकोशश्व॒ किड़किणीसायको महान्‌

Transliteration

vaiyāprakōśe nihito hemacitro durāsadaḥ | suphalāśritrakośaś ca kiḍkiṇīsāyako mahān ||

Translation

उत्तरा म्हणाली— “आयुधागारात ठेवलेले हे सुवर्णचित्रित, दुर्जेय असे महान् अस्त्र आहे. निश्चित फल देणारे म्हणून प्रसिद्ध असे हे विशाल धनुष्य आहे; त्यासोबत किणकिणीचा नाद करणारे बाण व तुणीरही आहेत.”
