ह्वीनिषेवो मधुरवाग्धार्मिकश्न प्रियश्न मे । स ते<रण्येषु वोढव्यो याज्ञसेनि क्षपास्वपि

vaishampāyana uvāca | hrī-niṣevaḥ madhura-vāk dhārmikaś ca priyaś ca me | sa te 'raṇyeṣu voḍhavyo yājñaseni kṣapāsv api ||

सहदेव लज्जाशील, मधुरभाषी आणि धर्मनिष्ठ आहे; तो मला अत्यंत प्रिय आहे. म्हणून, याज्ञसेनी! अरण्यात रात्रीसुद्धा तू स्वतः त्याला सांभाळत (हात धरून) घेऊन जा.
