Draupadī Awakens Bhīmasena
sairandhry uvāca anye cainaṁ vadhiṣyanti yeṣām āgaḥ karoti saḥ | manye caivādya suvyakte yama-lokaṁ gamiṣyati ||
Wrongdoing—especially harm done to others—invites its own punishment: those who are wronged (or their protectors) become the instruments of justice, and the offender moves toward inevitable consequences.
Sairandhrī (Draupadī), speaking to the queen, warns that the man who is committing offenses against others will be killed by those he has wronged, and she predicts his imminent death—symbolized as going to Yama’s realm.
