तस्य शब्दस्य भूतानि वित्रसन्त्यशनेरिव । अथाब्रवीत् तदा रामो रामं॑ दाशरथिस्तदा
tasya śabdasya bhūtāni vitrasanty aśaner iva | athābravīt tadā rāmo rāmaṃ dāśarathis tadā ||
त्या ध्वनीने सर्व प्राणी वज्राघातासारखे भयभीत झाले. तेव्हा दशरथनंदन रामाने (परशुराम) रामास उद्देशून बोलले.
