अगस्त्यस्य वित्तयाचनं तथा इल्वलोपभिक्षणनिर्णयः

आसीद्दा कि प्रभावश्लू स दैत्यो मानवान्तक: । किमर्थ चोदितो मन्युरगस्त्यस्य महात्मन:,“मनुष्योंका विनाश करनेवाले उस दैत्यका प्रभाव कैसा था? और महात्मा अगस्त्यजीके मनमें क्रोधका उदय कैसे हुआ”?

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: āsīd dā kila prabhāvaślū sa daityo mānavāntakaḥ | kimarthaṁ codito manyur Agastyasya mahātmanaḥ ||

Translation

वैशंपायन म्हणाले—मनुष्यांचा संहार करणारा मानवांतक नावाचा तो दैत्य पूर्वी अत्यंत प्रभावशाली व महाबलवान होता. त्याचे सामर्थ्य कसे होते? आणि महात्मा अगस्त्यांच्या अंतःकरणात क्रोध कोणत्या कारणाने उत्पन्न झाला?
