Pulastya’s Instruction
देवान् पितृन् समुद्दिश्य तस्य धर्मफलं महत् | एकस्मिन् भोजिते विप्रे कोटिर्भवति भोजिता
devān pitṝn samuddiśya tasya dharmaphalaṁ mahat | ekasmin bhojite vipre koṭir bhavati bhojitā ||
देव आणि पितरांच्या उद्देशाने अन्नदान केल्यास त्याचे धर्मफळ अत्यंत महान होते. अशा भावाने जर एका ब्राह्मणासही भोजन घातले, तर जणू एक कोटींना भोजन घातल्यासारखे पुण्य मिळते—इतका त्या कर्माचा धर्मफल मोठा आहे.
