ब्राह्मणेभ्यो ददद् ग्रामान् गाश्न॒ राजन् सहस्रश: । मुच्यते सर्वपापेभ्यस्तमोभ्य इव चन्द्रमा:,'जनेश्वर! ब्राह्मणोंको बहुत-से गाँव और सहस्रों गौएँ दानमें देकर राजा अपने समस्त पापोंसे उसी प्रकार मुक्त हो जाता है, जैसे चन्द्रमा अन्धकारसे
brāhmaṇebhyo dadad grāmān gāś ca rājan sahasraśaḥ | mucyate sarvapāpebhyaḥ tamobhya iva candramāḥ ||
जनेश्वर! ब्राह्मणांना गावे दान देऊन आणि सहस्रों गायी अर्पण करून राजा सर्व पापांतून तसाच मुक्त होतो, जसा चंद्र अंधारातून।
