एवं बलवत: सर्वमिति बुद्ध्वा महीपते । जहि शत्रून् महाबाहो परां निकृतिमास्थित:,“महाराज! महाबाहो! इस प्रकार बलवान्का ही सबपर अधिकार होता है, यह समझकर आप भी कूटनीतिका आश्रय ले अपने शत्रुओंको मार डालिये
evaṁ balavataḥ sarvam iti buddhvā mahīpate | jahi śatrūn mahābāho parāṁ nikṛtim āsthitaḥ |
वैशंपायन म्हणाले— हे महीपते! या जगात सर्व काही बलवानाच्या अधीन असते, असे जाणून, हे महाबाहो, तूही परम निकृतीचा (कूटनीतीचा) आश्रय घेऊन शत्रूंना ठार कर.
