मार्कण्डेय उवाच तमुवाच पिता भूय: प्रहृष्टो भरतर्षभ । गच्छायो ध्यां प्रशाधीति राम॑ रक्तान्तलोचनम्‌

Transliteration

Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca: tam uvāca pitā bhūyaḥ prahṛṣṭo bharatarṣabha | gacchāyodhyāṃ praśādhīti rāmaṃ raktāntalocanam ||

Translation

मार्कण्डेय म्हणाले—तेव्हा त्याच्या पित्याने पुन्हा आनंदाने भरून त्या भरतश्रेष्ठाला म्हटले—“अयोध्येला जा आणि राज्यकारभार सांभाळ.” असे तो रामाला म्हणाला; ज्याच्या डोळ्यांच्या कडा भावावेगाने लाल झाल्या होत्या।
