तथेति रामस्तद् वारि प्रतिगृह्माभिसंस्कृतम् । चकार नेत्रयो: शौचं लक्ष्मणश्ष महामना:,“बहुत अच्छा” कहकर श्रीरामचन्द्रजीने वह अभिमन्त्रित जल ले लिया। फिर उन्होंने तथा महामना लक्ष्मणने भी उससे अपने दोनों नेत्र धोये
tatheti rāmas tad vāri pratigṛhya abhi-saṁskṛtam | cakāra netrayoḥ śaucaṁ lakṣmaṇaś ca mahāmanāḥ ||
“तथास्तु” असे म्हणत श्रीरामांनी मंत्राभिसंस्कृत ते जल स्वीकारले. मग त्यांनी त्याने दोन्ही नेत्र शुद्ध केले; आणि महामना लक्ष्मणांनीही त्याच जलाने नेत्र धुतले.
