तामापतन्तीं सम्प्रेक्ष्य गन्धर्वाणां महाचमूम्‌ । महता शरवर्षेण सो< भ्यवर्षदरिंदम:,गन्धरवोकी उस विशाल सेनाको अपनी ओर आती देख शत्रुओंका दमन करनेवाले वीर दुर्योधनने उसपर बाणोंकी बड़ी भारी वर्षा प्रारम्भ कर दी

Transliteration

tām āpatantīṃ samprekṣya gandharvāṇāṃ mahācamūm | mahatā śaravarṣeṇa so 'bhyavarṣad arindamaḥ ||

Translation

वैशंपायन म्हणाले—गंधर्वांची ती विशाल सेना आपल्याकडे धावत येताना पाहून, शत्रुदमन करणाऱ्या वीर दुर्योधनाने तिच्यावर प्रचंड बाणवृष्टी सुरू केली.
