रथमादित्यसंकाशमास्थित: कनकप्रभम् | त॑ दृष्टवा दैत्यसेना सा व्यद्रवत् सहसा रणे,वे सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी रथपर विराजमान थे। उनकी अंगकान्ति भी सुवर्णके समान ही उद्धासित हो रही थी। उन्हें सहसा संग्राममें उपस्थित देख दैत्योंकी सेना रणभूमिसे भाग चली
ratham āditya-saṅkāśam āsthitaḥ kanaka-prabham | taṁ dṛṣṭvā daitya-senā sā vyadravat sahasā raṇe ||
सूर्यासारख्या तेजाने उजळणाऱ्या आणि सुवर्णकांतिने झळकणाऱ्या रथावर आरूढ होऊन ते रणांगणात प्रकट झाले. त्यांना पाहताच दैत्यांची सेना सहसा घाबरून युद्धभूमीतून पळून गेली.
