पर्जन्यश्वाप्पनुययौ नमस्कृत्य पिनाकिनम् । छत्र॑ च पाण्डुरं सोमस्तस्य मूर्थन्यधारयत्,पिनाकधारी भगवान् शंकरको नमस्कार करके पर्जन्यदेव भी उनके पीछे-पीछे चले। चन्द्रमाने उनके मस्तकपर श्वेत छत्र लगा रखा था
parjanyaś cāpy anuyayau namaskṛtya pinākinam | chatraṃ ca pāṇḍuraṃ somas tasya mūrdhny adhārayat ||
मार्कंडेय म्हणाले—पिनाकधारी प्रभूला नमस्कार करून पर्जन्यदेवही त्यांच्या पाठीमागे चालला; आणि सोम—चंद्र—त्यांच्या मस्तकावर पांढरे छत्र धरून होता।
