दर्श च पौर्णमासं च यस्य तिछेत्‌ प्रतिष्ठितम्‌ । इष्टिरष्टाकपालेन कार्या पथिकृतेडग्नये

Transliteration

darśaṁ ca paurṇamāsaṁ ca yasya tiṣṭhet pratiṣṭhitam | iṣṭir aṣṭākapālena kāryā pathikṛte 'gnaye ||

Translation

मार्कण्डेय म्हणाले—ज्याने दर्श व पौर्णमास याग-व्रत विधिपूर्वक प्रतिष्ठित केले आहेत, त्याने मातीच्या आठ कपालांत संस्कृत हवि सिद्ध करून ‘पथिकृत्’ नामक अग्नीकरिता इष्टि करावी.
