करभारभयाद्‌ भीता गृहस्था: परिमोषका: | मुनिच्छञाकृतिच्छन्ना वाणिज्यमुपजीविन:

Transliteration

karabhārabhayād bhītā gṛhasthāḥ parimoṣakāḥ | municchadākṛticchannā vāṇijyam upajīvinaḥ ||

Translation

वैशम्पायन म्हणाले—जड ओझे वाहण्याच्या भीतीने भयभीत झालेले ते लुटारू गृहस्थांचा वेष धारण करीत. मुनींच्या छद्मरूपात लपून ते व्यापारावर उपजीविका करीत—आणि त्याच आड चोरी-लूट करीत.
