यवक्रीत-वधः
The Slaying of Yavakrīta at Raibhya’s Hermitage
स वै प्रविशमानस्तु शूद्रेणान्धेन रक्षिणा । निगृहीतो बलाद् द्वारि सोडवातिष्ठत पार्थिव,राजन्! उस समय अमग्निहोत्रगृहके अंदर एक शूद्र-जातीय रक्षक नियुक्त था, जिसकी दोनों आँखें अंधी थीं। उसने दरवाजेके भीतर घुसते ही यवक्रीतको बलपूर्वक पकड़ लिया और यवक्रीत वहीं खड़ा हो गया
sa vai praviśamānas tu śūdreṇāndhena rakṣiṇā | nigṛhīto balād dvāri so ’vātiṣṭhata pārthiva rājan ||
राजन्! तो आत शिरत असता द्वारी नेमलेला, दोन्ही डोळ्यांनी आंधळा असा शूद्र रक्षक त्याला बलपूर्वक पकडून थांबवू लागला; आणि यवक्रीत द्वाराशीच अडून राहिला.
