लोमश उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजनू् राज्ञस्तस्य महात्मन: । यथा मान्धातृशब्दो वै लोकेषु परिगीयते,लोमशजीने कहा--राजन्! लोकमें उन महामना नरेशका “*मान्धाता” नाम कैसे प्रचलित हुआ? यह बतलाता हूँ, ध्यान देकर सुनो
Lomaśa uvāca: śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan rājñas tasya mahātmanaḥ | yathā Māndhātṛ-śabdo vai lokeṣu parigīyate ||
लोमश म्हणाला—राजन्, सावध होऊन ऐका. त्या महामना नरेशाचे ‘मान्धाता’ हे नाव लोकांत कसे गाजले व गाण्यात आले, ते मी सांगतो.
