विनदन्तं महानादं भिन्नभेरीस्वनं बली । भ्रामयामास सुचिरं विस्फुरन्तमचेतसम्,राक्षस किर्मीर फूटे हुए नगारेकी-सी आवाजमें बड़े जोर-जोरसे चीत्कार करने और छटपटाने लगा। बलवान भीम उसे देरतक घुमाते रहे, इससे वह मूर्छित हो गया
vinadantaṃ mahānādaṃ bhinnabherīsvanaṃ balī | bhrāmayāmāsa suciraṃ visphurantam acetasam ||
फुटलेल्या नगाऱ्यासारखा भयंकर नाद करून मोठ्याने किंकाळ्या फोडत व छटपटत असलेल्या राक्षस किर्मीराला बलवान भीम बराच वेळ फिरवीत राहिला; अखेरीस तो मूर्छित झाला।
